Come ride with us the most scenic coastline in the world! The views start from the beginning at Astoria Column with astounding views of the ocean, bay, and surrounding rivers to beaches strewn with driftwood. The northern Oregon coast is a blend of seashore and forest. We’ll ride to lighthouses and see where Lewis & Clark first saw the Pacific Ocean. There are national wildlife refuges with sea lions and waterfowl, an elk refuge, state parks and sandstone cliffs! In Newport we’ll view what some say is the most beautiful lighthouse in America! The central coast offers the incomparable Oregon dunes. The dunes are a stunning blend of dunes, wetlands, forests and lakes. We’ll view the Sea Lion Caves, which is a vast cavern housing Stellar sea lions. The southern Oregon coast brings a rougher side of sea cliffs. We’ll ride through Redwood National Park with its giant trees. Riding eastward to Crater Lake National Park, where we’ll see one of the most famous lakes in the world, the bluest and deepest in the U.S.! Riding north we’ll follow the beautiful Deschutes River where we’re likely to see a vast variety of waterfowl and enjoy the scents of the Deschutes National Forest before heading back to Portland!

Meet us in Spokane, WA for the ride to Portland, OR! We ride south and west, cross the Snake River, and picking up the Columbia River on part of Lewis and Clark’s trail! The ride travels the length of the dramatic Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. This route boasts twisty country roads, dense forests, and beautiful waterfalls! We’ll meet up with the rest of the group in Portland and continue with Oregon’s beautiful coast!
